Whites for Winter

     Trousers | Topshop

Practical? It's really not. However it's just effortlessly stylishly isn't it? An all white look more or less has the same effect an all black look has. Encouraging you to strut your stuff and get through the day perfect for these long, cold winter days we're about to endure as a nation. White statement pieces are definite wardrobe essentials. If you're worried about staining your whites, don't be... I have got to be the messiest person I know and even I find it hard to get my whites dirty in winter. I don't know why, probably something to do with the cold, so shop whites!!!

The Grey Layers

Joggers | Next
Pumps | Zara

I suppose I've always been minimalistic, I just didn't know it. Keeping my wardrobe simple Has definitely made my life easier. My wardrobe consists of about 6 colours mostly neutrals, it makes it so easy to mix and match my clothes. Grey is definitely one of my favourite colours at the moment. It is perfect for Autumn and winter. Not too bright, not too dull. Layering, Layering, Layering. I  cannot stress this enough. Why wouldn't you? It's stylish and it keeps you warm. Personally I like to  layer with a minimalistic approach. So I'll pick a neutral colour I want to wear and try to match the  rest of my outfit to that colour, as you can see in this particular look.

Bloggers London Fashion Week!

 Hey hey!!
All week I've been doing a series of posts about BLFW and in this one I just want to talk about the experience as a whole. As you can see from the amount of pictures above it was quite a social but calm event if that makes any sense. I met numerous different bloggers , all really friendly and chatty which was obviously great. I really do feel like going to more of these blogger events will help me socialise and meet people with the same or similar goals as me. I mean not everyone gets why I want to take blogging so seriously or what it really means to be honest so it's great meeting other bloggers. Anyway I also met various young brands as well as a few well established ones e.g. Benefit and motel rocks. As a whole it was a well organised event, with lots of goodie bags (of course), great music by the lovely DJ Fabienne and a great vibe. It was overall an enjoyable experience. Keep a look out for my last post regarding BLFW (all the details on what I wore) x

BLFW | Behind the scenes

    BLFW | Behind the scenes

Hii Guys,
If you have read my last post then you'll know I said I would tell all about the event, if you haven't well go have a quick read :) I originally got an invitation to the event as a blogger however I ended up helping out with various odd jobs before both sessions of the event. As seen in the pictures above I mostly helped pack the gift bags,as well as set some of the display tables using goodies given to me by various brands that were also setting up. This gave me the opportunity to meet the owners and representatives of all the brands that were there, they were all nice and chatty (thank God) awkward conversations are not the one lol. Anyway that's it for now but be sure to keep a look out for the next post. I'll be talking all about being a blogger at BLFW xx

My Mon Shea Journey

    Product | Mon Sheabutter Oil

Hey everyone!!
I know I haven't posted in awhile but all that's gonna change now. I will definitely try to post at least once a week.So yesterday I was at the Blogger's London Fashion Week hosted by blogger's Hangout. It was an Amazing event but I'll talk about all that in another post don't you worry. Anyway I met the two lovely ladies of Mon Shea and they told me all about the brand, what it stands for and what customers should expect from each of their products. Mon Shea is a skincare and hair care company that sources all its resources from West Africa (Ghana to be precise),in order to make quality natural exfoliating soaps and oils. I spoke to the owners of Mon Shea and they showed me different products they brought to the event as well as explained the benefits of each and every product. In the end I really liked the feel of the Shea butter oil when I rubbed it on the back of my hand so I took that to try out for a month and see if it's a product I would like to continue using. The Shea butter oil is said to improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks, deeply moisturise dry skin and for women/men of colour moisturise/enhance kinky hair growth. I personally am going to use this product to try improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks around my thighs and hip area. I will do a full review on the product after a month with before and after pictures showing my progress so definitely keep a look out for that but for now I am extremely excited to try this product, as of today I've used it on the areas I just mentioned and as a hand moisturiser and I must say I love the feel of it, however if you are to purchase this product seriously don't apply sparingly it is quite shiny. Anyway between this post and the progress/review post in about a month be sure to check out their website (http://monsheabutter.co.uk) x

Wedding vibes!!

   Dress | misguided
   Heels | TK Maxx
   Clutch | New Look

Hey hey, so I attended this wedding         last Saturday and this is what I wore. TK Maxx in Bedford recently started selling Misguided stuff and holy my was I to find this dress on its own for only £7.99. I honestly had to check the label twice. The heels are from TK Maxx but I do know that public desire and lamoda have similar styles. The dress is a multiway but I chose to cross it over, next time I wear it I'll be sure to mix it up a bit. Anyway I hope this look inspires someone xxx

Nudes

   Heels | New Look
   Skirt | prettylittlething
   Top | New Look

Hi guys, I know it's been a while. Apologies apologies. Anyway I recently posted a pic of this ensemble on my Instagram and I just Thought I'd give full details on the look here seeing as I'm forever forgetting to post. So the top I purchased around winter time and the skirt I got quite recently and the nude colours matched perfectly so I made an outfit of it. Thing is with pencil skirts you have to buy a size or two smaller than your actual size if it's to be a perfect fit and that's basically what I did. Anyway I hope the look inspires someone. Till next time huns xx

Sunday Best

   Jumpsuit | Zara
   Heels | New Look
  Clutch | Primark
  Duster Coat | Primark

For this particular look I was kind of just thinking "modest church appropriate". Yes let's ignore the fact that the jumpsuit is actually backless☺️☺️☺️☺️, hence the duster lol. I've honestly been looking for a duster coat for ages and Primark had really nice ones for a cheaper price so I obviously got one. I wear it with literally everything. The heels are from new look but they were bought for me by a friend so price wise I'm not actually sure but I absolutely love them, they are so comfortable. So I do hope this look inspires someone, till next time xx

Double denim!

Jeans| Primark
Shirt| dad's closet
Boots| top shop

Lately the idea of altering my clothes to beat suit me has literally been stuck in my head. The only problem is I haven't actually got myself a sewing machine yet ( and I'm yet to learn how to use it). it's all pending, it's all pending. I purchased a really cheap pair of jeans from Primark so I could practise my ripping skills. They only cost £10 and the quality really isn't too bad if I'm honest. Anyway I chickened out and a friend of mine hadto rip  them for me. I paired them with my topshop boots and an oversized shirt that believe it or not I actually stole fe my dad (bless him). On a little side not please excuse the poses I really was feeling myself ;) in

Artsy

   Jeans | New Look
    Pumps | Zara
    Coat | Primark

So I've been feeling really lazy lately and all my outfits have been quite casual and laid back.  This is just an everyday college look I put together, comfortable jeans, t shirt, pumps and a really blankety coat. Really can't go wrong with that. A serious dressed up look is way overdue though but it's pending ;) just wait on it xx

Lipstick loving!!

    Lipstick | Revlon

This has honestly got to be the most gorgeous light nude I've ever used. I have been looking for a nude that would look natural against my dark skin tone without looking brown if that makes any sense, and this is the first lipstick I have really been able to use. I don't usually like sheen lipsticks because they tend to be quite shiny, however I really don't mind this one. It's not too sheen, just enough to keep my lips moisturised. Oh and the lipstick is Revlon in 671 Mink. I swear by it.
